December Done (and 2020 Review)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Mileage went down in December unfortunately but it’s always nice to have some time to relax rather than be flogging yourself every day on the bike. Thankfully I have already achieved my mileage goal so I could afford a bit of me time.

I’m not really sure where this post is going so I’ll insert some of the various graphics relating to this year and say a few words.

Looking back at this graph I can see that I made a slow start to the year. The mileage didn’t really pick up until April. This is somewhere I can improve in 2021.

Overall I have really enjoyed 2020 when it comes to cycling. I have started to climb more and get many more miles in than I originally planned. The only thing that I have really failed at is my weight. In 2021 I need to reduce this. So, my targets for 2021 will be:

  • Ride 5,000 miles
  • Lose 1.5 stone (starting weight is 16 stone 13 lbs)
  • Ride 200 miles in a week

Here is to a successful 2021. And hopefully a Covid free one!
